P-cake All Stars!

It isn't every day that people get to go to work with amazing people like we do here at Pattycake. The All Stars make the bakery what it is and we chose to give them each a little spot to be recognized for the awesome they are. Each talent is individual, but the sum of the parts is what makes Pattycake so great!

Jennie ("Patty", to some).
Amanda often calls me "Our Fearless Leader". According to former employee Kate "cheeky is a bit of an understatement". To Rad Dog Tawd, who used to make our bike deliveries, i am "the most interesting boss i've ever had." Sarah, our manager and my dear friend, says that i am "the glue" that bonds pattycake; i, like many of us who balance work and family on a daily basis, sometimes feel the glue is barely holding it all together. Luckily, i am surrounded by the p-cake all-stars (thanks for the nickname, Sam!). I am really grateful for the opportunity to work and grow with this totally amazing group, and all of you out there.

Seth
My main squeeze, Seth not only turns pattycake's food-waste into compost and waters pattycake's plants, he also is the ideological and ethical foundation of pattycake. Plus a whole lot of other wonderful things.

Diana
Diana was pattycake's first employee and started baking with me in my home kitchen right after she got her driver's license. A self-trained cake decorator and now our wedding co-ordinator, the most beautiful cakes that come out of pattycake are thanks to "Big D" (it turns out that her dad and her gymnastics coach called her that, too). Diana is also a ridiculously fast baker; what it takes everyone else an hour to do, Diana busts out in 15 minutes. Really. We have also managed over the years to get glimpses of the wild side her quietness belies.

Amanda
When Amanda first started at the bakery we had a pile of papers/records/receipts with no rhyme, reason, or organization what-so-ever. Smart and sassy, Amanda quickly made sense out of our chaos. She keeps the bills and the staff paid, 5 days a week.

Sarah
The manager and unsung hero of pattycake, Sarah works countless hours baking, wrapping, packing, promoting, maintaining our facebook, myspace, and twitter pages, and generally making jennie's life easier. Some people imagine that all of the staff at pattycake are vegan; while this is not the case, Sarah walks the talk!

Shannon
shannon is not only our co-trainer, she is also pattycake's cut-out cookie and cupcake icing specialist, and is constantly introducing us to new music. shannon claims she is as inappropriate as the rest of us, but we have yet to see it.

Kristina
pattycake's co-trainer with shannon, kristina is tuff stuff - she rides her bike rain or shine, even when it is freezing, unless it snows a bunch, in which case she walks. she is super sweet, too! when she isn't at the bakery you might find her cutting lose at a dance party with some superfine dance moves!

ianna
is hilarious. and stylish. and loves to decorate. and she's creative, and adorable, and can sing really well, and, best yet, she likes to clean, even the gross stuff!

brian
what can we say, we love brian, and what’s not to love, from his sweet personality to amazing style......we especially like his chow dog t-shirt and unicorn socks. he seems to have gotten used to our girls locker room talk and has even decided to father the pattycake baby. he is also an amateur cyclist!

jean-louise
A native ville-billy who loves cooking, baking and all things culinary. When not in the kitchen, she is usually clopping around the garden (in wooden shoes!) and tending to her flock of yard chickens.
